Lightyear 2022 Film Review
Lightyear is a 2022 American computer-animated science fiction action-adventure film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. The film is a spin-off of the Toy Story film series, serving as an origin story for the character Buzz Lightyear. It was co-written and directed by Angus MacLane and produced by Galyn Susman, and stars Chris Evans as the voice of the titular character, with Keke Palmer, Peter Sohn, Taika Waititi, Dale Soules, James Brolin, Uzo Aduba, Mary McDonald-Lewis, and Isiah Whitlock Jr. in supporting roles.
Lightyear tells the story of young astronaut Buzz Lightyear, who, after being marooned on a hostile planet with his commander and crew, tries to find a way back home while confronting a threat in the form of Zurg. Initially, the source material for Buzz Lightyear was introduced in the direct-to-video film Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins (2000), which was the pilot to a spin-off television series, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command (2000–2001). After finishing work on Finding Dory (2016), MacLane, a science fiction fan, pitched the idea of making a film about Buzz Lightyear at Pixar. To evoke the science fiction films he grew up watching, the animators wanted to give the film a “cinematic” and “chunky” look. Michael Giacchino composed the film’s score.

Review of Tusk
”Tusk” is a movie that goes off the beaten paths. It’s a potential cult movie which will be adored by some and despised by others for decades to come. It’s almost impossible to have a neutral or no opinion on this controversial movie. It’s not a question about getting it or not, it’s simply a matter of personal tastes. I’m going to admit that this movie is difficult. Those who are looking for a typical American comedy movie might get shocked by the explicit torture scenes. Those who are looking for a sinister body horror film may not dig the humorous parts. This film is not for closed-minded and light-hearted people who just want to get entertained. This movie will haunt you long after it ended in one way or another. All the things mentioned above make this film something really special. It’s one of the few movies that still try to innovate at all costs. The more I think about the movie, the more I appreciate it and feel like watching it over and over again. If my review intrigued you and you consider yourself an open-minded and tough cineast, I can only warmly recommend you this incredibly entertaining mixture of the joyful and the woeful. For anyone else, try this at your own costs but don’t tell me I didn’t warn you.

Tusk film written and directed by Kevin Smith, based on a story from his SModcast podcast. The film stars Michael Parks, Johnny Depp, Justin Long, Haley Joel Osment, and Genesis Rodriguez. The film is the first in Smith’s planned True North trilogy, followed by Yoga Hosers (2016).

Words on Bathroom Walls 2020 Movie – Storyline
The story of witty and introspective Adam (Charlie Plummer), who appears to be your typical young adult – a little unkempt with raging hormones and excited about a future pursuing his dream of becoming a chef. Expelled halfway through his senior year following an incident in chemistry class, Adam is diagnosed with a mental illness. Sent to a Catholic academy to finish out his term, Adam has little hope of fitting in and just wants to keep his illness secret until he can enroll in culinary school. Review of Words on Bathroom Walls (2020 Movie)
High school senior Adam Petrazelli (Charlie Plummer) loves cooking but he starts hallucinating. After an incident, he is diagnosed with schizophrenia. His mother Beth (Molly Parker) puts him on an experimental drug. Her boyfriend Paul (Walton Goggins) wants to put him in an institution. Instead, he’s sent to a private Catholic school run by Sister Catherine (Beth Grant) where he’s befriended by brilliant classmate Maya Arnez (Taylor Russell). He hides his situation from her. His medicine is interfering with his cooking. He does find relieve confessing to Father Patrick (Andy García).
Plummer is a terrific young actor and this role fits him very neatly. Sometimes, this movie has a dark tone which reminds me of Donnie Darko. Other times, it’s a slightly lighter teen romance. My main issue is his hallucinations. They could do more with those although I also want them to view the story from Beth and Maya’s point of views at times which would require the elimination of the hallucinations. All in all, it’s a compelling portrait of mental illness.

The young prince was only a child when his father died, leaving him to rule the empire alone. He was crowned as emperor, and immediately faced many challenges.
The premise of She – Netflix India’s latest show – is so promising that nothing less than an absurdly confused narrative with no sense of timing and tone might have messed it up.
Even the smarter subtexts are fetishized by the makers. For example, equating the stature of sex workers in society to that of female cops in a male-dominated police force.
The execution of the narrative – the cheesy cop-planning sessions, her training montage, her sister’s desi spunk, the incoherent flashbacks is too cringey to examine the complexity of Bhumi’s transformation.
SHE: STREAM IT OR SKIP IT?
Sasya (Vijay Varma) arrives at his usual cathouse. He’s apparently a VIP — the proprietors parade women in front of him, and he rejects them all, until they offer him two special women. He selects Bhumi (Aaditi Pohankar). They banter; he repeatedly says he’s going to make her feel pain. She leads him not to a neighboring room, but outside, promising to take him somewhere special. But he’s not having any of that.
CRITIC REVIEWS FOR SHE: SEASON 1
It becomes a pointless, repetitive misfire that reduces the promise of its premise to dull police procedural and soon ends up as a caricature of its own making.
She does smoulder occasionally, but it never crackles with energy.
She’s writing duo … prove unable to handle the multiple threads, serving up little depth and emotion. That’s especially true in the case of its central thread about female empowerment.
Netflix’s She review
This is not to say that She doesn’t have its moments. The drama, cinematography, slow-build thrill and performances in the series definitely make it watchable to a certain point. Bhumika Pardeshi (Aaditi Pohankar) plays a lower middle class Marathi girl who is a constable with the Mumbai Police. She is picked up by a member of the Narcotics Bureau, Jason Fernandez (Vishwas Kini), to pose as a prostitute to bring down a drug cartel, in the same way she is “picked up” by Sasya (Vijay Varma) in the brothel while she is undercover. The agency that Bhumi is allowed is sparse.
Becky compares herself to the picture-perfect lives on Instagram, compulsively returning to one account: Chloe’s. However, when Chloe dies suddenly, Becky’s need to find out how and why leads her to assume a new identity.
Kamala is a superhero fan with an imagination, particularly when it comes to Captain Marvel; Kamala feels like she doesn’t fit in at school and sometimes even at home, that is until she gets superpowers like the heroes she’s looked up to.
